Abstract:

A power conversion device (1) comprises: a plurality of power units (11, 21); a plurality of fans (46, 47) that generate the flow of air passing through the power units (11, 21); and a chassis (40) that houses the plurality of power units (11, 21) and the plurality of fans (46, 47). The power conversion device (1) further comprises a plurality of thermally conductive bases (51, 61) and a plurality of coolers (50, 60) that are thermally connected to the bases (51, 61) and provided outside the chassis (40) at positions sandwiching the chassis (40) in a horizontal direction. A plurality of capacitors (FC11, FC12, FC21, FC22) possessed by the power units (11, 21) are arranged with a space therebetween in a direction apart from principal surfaces of the bases (51, 61).
