Abstract:
To provide a printing device that enables printing to be performed at a higher speed while suppressing an image quality from deteriorating.SOLUTION: A printing device comprises a head, a scanning device and a control part, where a plurality of nozzles have a first nozzle group of a plurality of nozzles arranged in an intersecting, and a second nozzle group of a plurality of nozzles arranged in a first direction closer to a scanning direction than the first nozzle group and arranged in the intersecting direction. The control part, when making the nozzles discharge ink while moving the head in the scanning direction to print an image on a printing medium, obtains nozzle information for specifying the nozzle group, of the first nozzle group and the second nozzle group, which is made to discharge ink, then obtains margin information concerning a margin between an end of the printing medium and the image in the scanning direction, and prints the image on the printing medium by making the nozzle group based on the nozzle information discharge ink, while moving the head in the scanning direction at a first speed or a second speed higher than the first speed, on the basis of the nozzle information and the margin information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
