Abstract:
To provide a head cooling mechanism which achieves high flexibility of design related to the air volume and wind direction and can cool a head efficiently.SOLUTION: A printer 1 has a carriage 27, a supply device 41, and a connection passage (a tube 43). The carriage is equipped with a head 25 for making prints and is movable (relative to a housing 49 etc.). The supply device sends a gas for cooling the head. The tube has: a first end 43a connected to the supply device; and a second end 43b which is connected to the carriage and allowed to move relative to the first end and causes the gas from the supply device to flow from the first end to the second end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
