Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to rapidly and easily specify a medical pump generating an alarm when using a plurality of medical pumps mounted on a rack.SOLUTION: In a medical pump system, a plurality of medical pumps are mounted on a rack. The rack includes a communication part for communicating with the plurality of medical pumps mounted thereon. When alarm notification is received from any of the plurality of medical pumps via the communication part, the rack determines a mounting position of the medical pump transmitting the alarm notification on the rack and determines the direction display to make each of the other medical pumps display so as to indicate the determined mounting position from each of the medical pumps other than the medical pump generating the alarm notification. Then, the rack further transmits an instruction to display the determined direction display to each of the other medical pumps via the communication part.
