Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput in a network to which a different wireless communication system is applied.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system includes a first base station device performing wireless communication, using a first wireless mode, with multiple terminals, multiple second base station devices performing wireless communication, using a second wireless mode of faster communication speed and shorter communication distance than the first wireless mode, with the terminal, and a control station device for switching whether or not to let the second base station device perform wireless communication. The control station device includes a monitoring section for acquiring the use situation of wireless communication of the terminal via the first base station device, and a control section for selecting a second base station device performing wireless communication with the terminal, out of the multiple second base station devices, and making the selected second base station device start wireless communication with the terminal based on the use situation. The terminal capable of performing wireless communication by using the second wireless mode is determined for each second base station device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
