Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair welding method capable of eliminating the difficulty of welding caused by the influence of a gap between a recessed part and a plug, a repair welding plug, and a reactor vessel.SOLUTION: The repair welding method includes the plug installing step of fitting a plug so that the bottom surface of the plug can abut on the bottom surface of the recessed part formed in a base material to form a gap between the side wall of the recessed part and the outer peripheral wall of the plug, and the welding step of joining the plug fitted in the recessed part and the base material by laser welding. According this method, in the fitted state of the plug in the recessed part, the outer peripheral edge of the plug is positioned outside the recessed part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
