Abstract:
To simplify a bracket, and to maintain the support strength of a linkage in a saddle-riding type vehicle that has a unit-swing type power unit.SOLUTION: A motorcycle includes: a vehicle body frame 20 that includes a pair of right and left rear frame front sections 24a extending backwardly and upwardly in a side view; a vehicle-body-side bracket 50 that includes a pair of right and left side plate sections 51 protruding backwardly from the respective rear frame front sections 24a; a pivot shaft 80 that is supported by the vehicle-body-side bracket 50, and that extends in the vehicle widthwise direction between the pair of side plate sections 51; a linkage 70 that is supported by the vehicle-body-side bracket 50 through the pivot shaft 80 so as to be swingable; and a power unit that includes, at the upper portion, a coupling section coupled to the linkage 70. An opening 60 into which the linkage 70 is inserted is formed in the vehicle-body-side bracket 50. The opening 60 is continuous from a portion located behind the pivot shaft 80 to the respective upper ends of the pair of side plate sections 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
