Abstract:
To provide an automatic operating forklift capable of automatically moving a cargo unit to a carrying-in space and capable of automatically carrying the cargo unit into the carrying-in space so that there are no gaps between adjacent objects.SOLUTION: An automatic operating forklift has a vehicle body, a traveling device, a fork, a lifting device, a side shift device, a hydraulic pump, and a control device, and comprises side shift pressure detection means to detect a shift hydraulic oil pressure in the side shift device and carrying-in space detection means to detect the carrying-in space. There are adjacent objects in the carrying-in space. The control device has carrying-in space recognition means to recognize the carrying-in space using the carrying-in place detection means, cargo unit carrying-in means to insert the cargo unit into the carrying-in space, and width aligning execution means of the cargo unit, where the width aligning execution means of the cargo unit detects a shift hydraulic oil pressure while moving the cargo unit inserting into the carrying-in space by controlling the side shift device, with the fork in the direction closer to the adjacent object, and determines a contact state between the cargo unit and the adjacent objects by the rising state of the shift hydraulic oil pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
