Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image formation apparatus which can effectively reduce burrs of a sheet without increase in torque of a drive roller or the like, increase in size of the device, and increase in cost and the like.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device comprises: a feeding tray on which a sheet P is loaded; a pickup roller 206 which feeds the sheet P loaded on the feeding tray; humidifiers 211a, 211b which are arranged on both sides in the width direction (arrow Q direction) orthogonal to the sheet feeding direction (arrow N direction) of the feeding tray; and a control part which controls the humidifiers 211a, 211b to apply humidification liquid to both end parts in the width direction of the sheet P fed by the pickup roller 206 in accordance with the feeding timing of feeding the sheet P on the feeding tray by the pickup roller 206.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
