Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat equipped with a lumbar support which detects the lumbar shape of a seating person and actuates to approximate an ideal condition of the lumbar.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat 1 is equipped with: a shape sensor 40 which is disposed at the front of a back pad 20 to extend in a vertical direction along the lumbar L of a seating person and has such a structure that a distortion gauge 42 is stuck to a belt-like flexible base material 41 deformable along the lumbar L; a lumbar support 28 configured to contact the rear face of the back pad 20 and to be capable of back and forth and vertically moving a support position supporting the lumbar part of the seating person; and control means 60 which detects a seating resistance value being a resistance value of the distortion gauge 42 when seating the person, and back and forth and vertically controls the support position of the lumbar support 28 to get up the seating resistance value to the initial resistance value being that of the distortion gauge 42 in an ideal curvature state of the base material 41 considering the sitting comfort of the seating person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
