Abstract:
To provide a signal processing device for a two-wire type sensor capable of using a two-wire cable being a two-wire type value, and outputting high performance without sacrificing performance while securing the possibility of acquiring 4 to 20 mA.SOLUTION: In a signal processing device 300 including a sensor 10 and a signal converter 100 for converting a signal detected by the sensor, an external cable connection part 20 of the sensor is provided with a pair of output signal terminals 120, 130 for semiconductor type pulses and a pair of power source terminals 140, 150, one of the pair of output signal terminals is connected to a positive side of the power source terminals through a predetermined resistor 160 and the other side of the signal terminals and a negative side of the power source terminals are short-circuited to form superposition power lines 210, 220 on which current consumed by a pulse output circuit is superposed on current consumed by the power source terminals of the sensor, the sensor and the signal converter are connected by the superposition power lines, and the signal converter extracts only a signal 304 corresponding to a pulse output from a superposition current waveform flowing through the superposition power lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
