Abstract:
A space environment management device and the like according to one embodiment of the present invention is equipped with: a reception unit (121) that receives user identification information for identifying a user; an acquisition unit (122) that acquires environment information indicating the values for environmental factors for a space occupied by the user; a storage unit (124) that stores, for each user, a probability map indicating the probability that the user will feel comfortable with respect to each of multiple combinations of the values for the environmental factors for the space; and a control unit (125). The control unit references the probability map (of the probability maps stored in the storage unit (124)) which corresponds to the user (101) identified by the user identification information, determines environmental parameters, which are the values for the environmental factors that fulfill a prescribed condition pertaining to the probability that the user will feel comfortable, and controls an air conditioner (103) such that the values for the environmental factors for the space occupied by the identified user (101) are within a prescribed range of conditions in the relevant probability map, and such that the energy consumed by the air conditioner (103) and the probability that the user will feel comfortable are within a prescribed range of conditions.
