Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical conductive calcium carbonate uniform in conductive performance and strong to physical shock.SOLUTION: Provided is a spherical calcium carbonate particle in which, in the production process of calcium carbonate, carbon is uniformly introduced into the inside of the particle thereof, where the average circularity is 0.85 or more, the average particle diameter is 0.5 to 20 μm, and the content of carbon is 10 to 30 mass%. Also provided is a method for producing a calcium carbonate particle produced by a spray pyrolysis method having a drying step where an organic acid calcium salt solution is atomized, and drying is performed at 100 to 500°C and a thermal decomposition step of 600 to 1,000°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
