Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a cooling efficiency [a heat exchanging efficiency] to be improved, a reduction of an amount of supply of spray water and a restriction against occurrence of erosion and the like to be effectively realized.SOLUTION: A steam turbine exhaust chamber cooling device of one preferred embodiment of the present invention supplies spray water to a turbine exhaust chamber in which steam is exhausted from a turbine step in a casing storing a turbine rotor. The steam turbine exhaust chamber cooling device has several spray nozzles, the several spray nozzles inject spray water from an injection port into the turbine exhaust chamber. In this case, the several spray nozzles are set in such a way that a center line of the injection port is inclined in respect to a radial direction of the turbine rotor so as to cause the spray water to be injected in a reverse direction in respect to a rotating direction of the turbine rotor. An inclination angle α of the center line of the injection port is inclined toward a forward side in the radial direction of the turbine rotor has a relation indicated in the equation [A] of 25°≤α≤45°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
