Abstract:
To provide a stepladder allowing a user to work in a stable posture and to safely go up/down.SOLUTION: A stepladder 1 includes: a first leg 10 having a plurality of first treads 13 fixed between first pillars 11 and 12; a second leg 20 having a plurality of second treads 23 fixed between second pillars 21 and 22; a top plate 30 to which one end of the first leg 10 is rotatably connected and one end of the second leg 20 is rotatably connected; a first pivot section 40 connecting the first leg 10 to the top plate 30 for rotation; a second pivot section 50 connecting the second leg 20 to the top plate 30 for rotation; and a gantry-shaped handrail 32 provided on a side edge of the top plate 30 and protruding upwardly from the surface of the top plate 30. In the grounded state of allowing the first leg 10 and the second leg 20 spread apart, the other end of the first leg 10 and the other end of the second leg 20 are supported on a ground surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
