Abstract:
To provide a supercharger capable of reducing thermal stress of a seal member generated in cooling.SOLUTION: A supercharger 1 includes: a turbine housing 4; a variable nozzle unit 25 for adjusting a gas flow path area in the turbine housing 4; and a seal member 45 for sealing a gap G between the turbine housing 4 and the variable nozzle unit 25. The sealing member 45, when viewed from a direction of a rotation axis H of a turbine 2, abuts a cylindrical surface 53 of the turbine housing 4, on an inner peripheral side thereof, over the entire length thereof, and extends in a C-shape around the cylindrical surface 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
