Abstract:
To provide a surface protective film appropriate for simultaneously realizing excellent hand-tearability and high reworkability, while having a polyester base material.SOLUTION: A surface protective film X has a laminate structure including a base material 11 being a transparent base material and an adhesive layer 12. The base material 11 is a polyester base material uniaxially drawn in a base-material width direction and has a thickness of 75 μm or more. The surface protective film X has an Elmendorf tear strength of 0.5 N or less in the base-material width direction, and the surface protective film X has an Elmendorf tear strength of 1 N or more in a base-material machine direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
