Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device having a high degree of freedom in a layout adaptable to conveyance passages having various widths and lengths, as well as to provide a conveyance device comprising such a transfer device.SOLUTION: A transfer device comprises: a moving force imparting member for imparting a moving force to move an article to one direction, while contacting with a bottom of the article; and two or more linear transfer units 5 - 8, having a length in a force imparting direction longer than a width thereof; and lifting devices 9 - 12 having two or more cam followers alternately ascending/descending. The two linear transfer units 5, 7 are arranged in intersecting directions. The lifting device 9 is arranged at an intersecting part between the two linear transfer units 5, 7. The cam follower of the lifting device 9 engages with the two linear transfer units 5, 7. The two linear transfer units 5, 7 ascend/descend according to ascent/descent of the cam followers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
