Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting control information. A method and an apparatus for transmitting control information in a wireless telecommunication system are provided to efficiently transmit control information by offering channel formatting and signal processing methods. One or more PDCCHs (Physical Downlink Control Channel) are detected. One or more PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel) signals corresponding to one or more PDCCHs are received. A PUCCH source value corresponding to the value of a TPC (Transmit Power Control) field of the PDCCH for the PDSCH signal on a SCell (Secondary Cell) is determined from a plurality of PUCCH source values. The PUCCH source value directed by the TPC field is mapped onto one PUCCH resource for a single antenna port. The PUCCH source value directed by the TPC field is mapped to a plurality of PUCCH resources for a multiple antenna port.
