Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo refrigerator capable of more surely suppressing foaming in an oil tank.SOLUTION: A turbo refrigerator includes a turbo compressor 3 for compressing a refrigerant, a condenser 5 for condensing the refrigerant compressed by the turbo compressor 3, an expansion valve 7 for expanding the liquid refrigerant led from the condenser 5, an evaporator 9 for evaporating the refrigerant expanded by the expansion valve 7, an oil tank 17 for storing a lubricant to be supplied to the turbo compressor 3, a pressure equalizing pipe 23 connecting the oil tank 17 and the evaporator 9, and a control portion for controlling start. The control portion calculates a refrigerant elution amount of the refrigerant dissolved in the lubricant in the oil tank 17 in starting, and reduces a pressure lowering speed in the oil tank 17 by limiting an opening motion of IGV13 when the refrigerant elution amount per a prescribed time is over a prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
