Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner for vehicle which is inhibited from being increased in size and which can reduce noise caused by a backflow generated at an inlet of a ventilation passage.SOLUTION: An air conditioner for vehicle includes a flow width adjustment portion 14 disposed at an inlet port 11BA of a ventilation passage 11B to be connected on an inner surface 31a of a first side wall 31, having an upper end connected to a fan attachment portion 35, extending downward, and arranged between a third wall 33 and a nose portion 37 in a Y direction. The nose portion 37 includes an inclined portion 37A inclined to the third wall 33 such that the width of the inlet port 11BA increases in a Z direction from an inlet toward an outlet of the inlet port 11BA of the ventilation passage 11B. The flow width adjustment portion 14 is configured to reduce, in the Z direction, the width in the Y direction of the inlet port 11BA of the ventilation passage 11B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
