Abstract:
To provide a lamp for a vehicle which can suppress the emission of a blue laser from an emission face of a lens body when a fluorescent body having a laser light source is damaged.SOLUTION: A lamp unit A comprises a laser light source 12 and a lens body 22 arranged in a front position of the laser light source 12. The laser light source 12 has: a semiconductor laser element 17 for discharging blue laser light; and a fluorescent body 18 for discharging white diffusion light W by the passage of the blue laser light. The lens body 22 has: an incident part 23 to which light emitted from the laser light source 12 is made incident; and an emission face 28 for emitting the light from the incident part 23 to the outside of a lens. The incident part 23 has an external peripheral optical face 25 for reflecting the incident light from the laser light source 12 at the inside. The external peripheral optical face 25 has a refraction optical face 29 for discharging the blue laser light incident into the lens from the semiconductor laser element 17 to the outside of the lens by refraction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
