To allow a vehicle to travel safely and comfortably even in an uneven place by allowing the vehicle to safely ascend/descend a high level difference by moving an active weight part to the upper stage side of the level difference while inclining a vehicle body to the lower stage side of the level difference before ascending/descending the level difference.
The vehicle has a vehicle body, a drive wheel 12 rotatably mounted to the vehicle body, an active weight part mounted to the vehicle body so as to be movable in the forward/backward direction, and a vehicle control device that controls a drive torque imparted to the drive wheel 12 and controls a posture of the vehicle body by controlling the position of the active weight part. The vehicle control device inclines the vehicle body to the lower stage side of the level difference and moves the active weight part to the upper stage side of the level difference before ascending/descending the level difference of a road surface.
