PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device and a telecommunication system capable of increasing security when using data for use in conveyance.SOLUTION: A wireless communication device 10 that is attached to an article of conveyance target includes a display unit 11 having a nonvolatile information display function, a control unit including a storage region storing a key for use in cryptocommunication, and a radio communication unit performing close range radiocommunication with an external terminal. The radio communication unit receives data containing conveyance information Ib for use in transportation of an article, which is encryption data including authentication data created by using a key corresponding to the above-mentioned key, from a terminal, and the control unit authenticates legitimacy of the conveyance information Ib, based on the authentication of the authentication data by using the key stored in the storage region, and displays the conveyance information Ib, legitimacy of which was confirmed, in the display unit 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
