Abstract:
To provide a wireless communication system that effectively utilizes radio resources of a cell without a mobile terminal during communication connection (active terminal AUE) even in other cells while eliminating concerns of inter-cell interference, and realize fine-grained communication resource allocation control to improve cell throughput at low cost while reducing the processing load on a base station.SOLUTION: An active terminal monitoring unit that monitors whether an active terminal AUE is present in a cell is provided in a control/baseband unit of a base station. When active terminal monitoring information without an active terminal AUE is obtained in a certain cell, the active terminal monitoring information is obtained by an allocation control command unit provided separately from the base station, and a resource allocation control unit is allowed to allocate a radio resource RB common to the cell determined to have no active terminal to an adjacent cell. The base station can easily determine whether the radio resources may be shared between adjacent cells with a simple processing load only by referring to the command from the allocation control command unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
