Abstract:
An absorbent article (1) that has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction, in an unfolded state, and has: an absorbent body (21); a top sheet (22) provided further on the skin side in the thickness direction than the absorbent body (21); and a stool indicator (40) that is provided further on the non-skin side in the thickness direction than the absorbent body (21) and exhibits a prescribed reaction as a result of being in contact with a stool. In the thickness direction, at least one sheet member is provided between the top sheet (22) and the stool indicator (40). The Klemm water absorption of the sheet member is greater than the Klemm water absorption of the top sheet (22).
