An AC generator for vehicle capable of reducing magnetic noise. The AC generator (100) for vehicle comprising a stator (1) consisting of a stator core (2) having a plurality of slots (2c) with a plurality of stator winding conductors (34) contained in respective slots (2c) constituting a stator winding (3), and a rotor (4) having a plurality of magnetic poles arranged to alternate different polarities in the rotational direction and disposed in the stator (1) through an air gap, wherein the plurality of stator windings (34) arranged across the plurality of slots (2c) in association with the plurality of magnetic poles are arranged over a plurality of adjacent slots (2c) to constitute three phase windings which constitute one three-phase winding and the stator winding (3) is constituted of two three-phase windings.
