Abstract:
This active material contains: a compound A that contains Li element, M element (which represents one or more elements selected from among Ni element, Co element and Mn element) and O element; and a compound B that contains Li element, Nb element and O element. With respect to the Raman spectrum as obtained by means of Raman spectroscopy, if SPA is the area of a peak associated with the compound A, said peak being observed within the range of from 540 cm-1 to 650 cm-1, and SPB is the area of a peak associated with the compound B, the value of SPB/SPA, which is the ratio of the SPB to SPA, satisfies the relational expression 0 < SPB/SPA ≤ 1.2.
