Abstract:
An additive manufacturing method for a lead-free environmentally-friendly high-strength brass alloy, the method mainly comprising the five steps of gas atomization milling, model construction, molding chamber preparation, pre-powdering, and selective laser molding, and the lead-free environmentally-friendly high-strength brass alloy being prepared according the following mass percentages: Zn 5.5-40wt.% and Si 0.5-4wt.%, the total content of the trace elements Al and Ti being 0-0.5wt.%, while the remaining is Cu; the microstructure thereof comprises micron-sized cellular crystals and dendritic crystals. By means of the foregoing method, a nearly full-density high-strength brass alloy and a near net formed complex structural component thereof may be obtained; the formed high-strength brass alloy has a beautiful color and has the physical properties of having excellent electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, being easy-cut, and the like, and may be widely applied in bathroom fixtures, hardware decoration, radiators, electronic communication, low-temperature piping, pressure equipment and like mechanical manufacturing fields.
