Abstract:
An antibody directed against a protein having an amino acid sequence depicted
in SEQ ID NO:3, 5, 7, 13, 19, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33 or 35, a compound capable of inhibiting
the activity or function of the protein or a salt thereof, a compound capable of
inhibiting the expression of the protein or a salt thereof or the like is useful
as a prophylactic/therapeutic agent and (or) a recurrence-preventive agent
for non-small cell lung. A protein having an amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ
ID NO:1, 9, 11, 15, 17, 21, 23 or 37, DNA encoding the protein, a compound capable
of promoting the activity or function of the protein or a salt thereof, a compound
capable of promoting the expression of the protein or a salt thereof or the like
is also useful as a prophylactic/therapeutic agent and (or) a recurrence-preventive
agent for non-small cell lung. An antibody directed against the protein, DNA
encoding the protein or the like is also useful as a diagnostic agent for the grade
of malignancy of non-small cell lung cancer.
