Abstract:
An air conditioner is disclosed. The air conditioner of the present disclosure may comprise: an outdoor unit; at least one indoor unit for cooling or heating an interior space while repeatedly powering on and off; a sensor unit for measuring temperature and humidity of each interior space in which at least one indoor unit is located; and a controller, wherein the controller calculates sensible heat load and latent heat load of each indoor unit on the basis of a time point when an operation stop has occurred, a time point when an operation starts again after occurrence of an operation stop, and temperature and humidity information of each interior space, derives target sensible heat and target latent heat on the basis of the calculated sensible heat load and latent heat load, and derives target refrigerant temperature and air volume of at least one indoor unit on the basis of the target sensible heat and target latent heat. Therefore, indoor sensible heat and latent heat load can be precisely derived and the driving efficiency of the air conditioner can be improved.
