Abstract:
This air-conditioning device comprises: an outdoor unit; and an indoor unit and peripheral devices connected to the outdoor unit via a first transmission path. The outdoor unit has: a signal generator that generates a first control signal having, attached thereto, a first header portion containing address information indicating the addresses of the indoor unit and peripheral devices connected to the first transmission path and a second header portion containing information relating to response conditions indicating whether or not a response to the outdoor unit is required; a transmitter that transmits the first control signal generated by the signal generator to each of the indoor unit and peripheral devices; and a receiver that receives a response signal via the first transmission path from each of the indoor unit and peripheral device that satisfy the response conditions.
