Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an Al-Y-Zr-Mg-Mn-Sc aluminum alloy suitable for an additive manufacturing process and an additive manufacturing method. The aluminum alloy comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 0.1-9.8% of Y, 0.15-3.00% of Zr, 0.8-1.6% of Mg, 0.10-0.75% of Sc, 0.5-2.4% of Mn, and the balance of Al and other inevitable impurities. According to the present invention, Y and higher-content Zr are added, and no solid state phase changes occur in the added Y and Zr, thereby reducing cracking. The use amount of Mg is reduced, thereby reducing the crack susceptibility in additive manufacturing. The use amount of Sc is reduced, thereby reducing the costs. The use amount of Mn is reduced, thereby greatly limiting the formation amount of an Al12Mn brittle phase, avoiding solid state phase changes between Al6Mn and Al12Mn, and allowing complex or large additively manufactured parts to be subsequently heat treated without causing micro- and macro-cracking. According to the alloy components and the additive manufacturing method in the present invention, complex crack-free parts can be manufactured during additive manufacturing, and the working efficiency is high.
