Chromosomal uridine phosphorylase knockout non-human animals and offspring thereof. These animals make it possible to clarify the pathological physiology of nucleic acid metabolic errors, etc. and estimate the usefulness of pyrimidine nucleoside-type metabolic antagonists in humans, etc. Thus, they are useful as animals for experiments.
