Abstract:
The invention relates to agents used for preventive therapy following an acute cerebrovascular accident, particularly with the goal of preventing infections following a cerebrovascular accident. According to the invention, the agents used in pharmaceutical preparations are anti-infective agents and/or immunomodulatory agents, for example, cytokines and/or inhibitors of the sympathetic nervous system.
