Description:
ANTI-TAMPERING SINGLE-PIECE CLOSURE FOR BOTTLES

The present invention relates to an anti-tampering single-piece closure for bottles.

Closures for bottles are currently known and available on the market, provided with special devices able to make it clear whether the bottle has been previously opened .

Nowadays, among the various types are particular portions of the closures themselves that before opening must be removed to allow extracting the plug from the bottle .

However, such devices are often made by connecting several distinct components and exhibit some difficulties when made by moulding.

Starting from such a known art, the aim of the present invention is to provide an anti-tampering single-piece closure for bottles which is alternative to the known ones and particularly efficient during the manufacturing .

Further features of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

The features and the advantages of an anti-tampering single-piece closure for bottles according to the present invention will become more apparent from the following exemplary and non-limiting description, made with reference to the accompanying schematic drawings, in which:

- figures 1 and 2 are views of the anti-tampering single-piece closure according to the present invention in original condition;

figures 3 and 7 are side views of the closure according to the present invention;

- figures 4 and 8 are sectional views of the closures shown in figures 3 and 7;

figures 5 and 6 are views of the anti-tampering single-piece closure according to the present invention after use; and

- figures 9 and 10 show enlarged details of figures 5 and 8.

With reference to the figures, reference numeral 10 corresponds to an anti-tampering single-piece closure for bottles according to the present invention.

Such a closure 10 is of the single-piece type and comprises:

- a plug portion 11 provided with a side wall 12 and with an upper closing wall 13, wherein the plug portion 11 can be removably rotatably associated with a bottle's mouthpiece at the thread;

- a sleeve portion 14 which can be removably associated with a bottle's neck.

The plug 11 and sleeve 14 portions are connected to each other along a breaking line 15.

According to the invention, closure 10 further comprises a removable anti-tampering flap 16 designed in such a way that, before being removed, it inhibits the plug portion 11 to rotate with respect to the sleeve portion 14.

In particular, flap 16 develops from the sleeve portion 14 towards the plug portion 11 and comprises:

- a base portion connected to the sleeve portion 14 at the breaking line 15; - an outer gripping portion 18 developing towards the plug portion 11 and provided with at least the upper end separated from the plug portion 11 for allowing it to be grasped manually;

- an inner constraining portion 19 projecting towards the inner part of the plug portion 11 and housed at a slit 17 of the side wall 12 at the breaking line 15 to inhibit the plug portion 11 to rotate with respect to the sleeve portion 14.

The inner constraining portion 19 is internally provided with at least one vertical rib 21 connected to joining points 22, 23 obtained both below and above slit 17 of the plug portion 11.

Finally, the sleeve portion 14 is snap constrained on the bottle; the breaking line comprises a plurality of bridges obtained by moulding or cutting and the upper closing wall 13 comprises an inner drop-stopping flange 25.

It has thus been seen that the anti-tampering single- piece closure for bottles according to the present invention achieves the objects described above.

In fact, the anti-tampering single-piece closure for bottles offers a valid alternative to the known ones and is particularly efficient during the manufacturing. The anti-tampering single-piece closure for bottles of the present invention thus conceived can be subjected to numerous modifications and variants, all falling within the same inventive concept; moreover, all details may be replaced with technically equivalent elements. In the practice, the materials used as well as the dimensions thereof may be any, according to the technical requirements.
