Abstract:
An antibacterial agent which is composed of a compound represented by general formula (I) or (II) or a salt thereof. In formula (I), R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms; and X1 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom. In formula (II), R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms; and each of X1 and X2 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom.
