Abstract:
Antimicrobial and/or anti-acne formulation containing (a) a dialkyl sulphosuccinate (DAS) or derivative thereof and (b) a compound of formula (I) or derivative thereof: formula (I) wherein each of R1 and R2 is independently selected from methyl and ethyl and R3 is hydrogen. The formulation may be used to treat conditions such as skin and skin structure conditions, in particular acne. It may in particular be used as an antibacterial agent, more particularly against propionibacteria.
