Abstract:
In order to calculate a total delay time having occurred on a user-plane, a base station in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment, comprises: a communication module for communicating with a source base station controlling a user terminal and a source cell; a memory in which computer-executable instructions are stored; and a processor, which accesses the memory so as to execute instructions, wherein the instructions can be configured to: receive information about pre-handover delay time from the source base station according to the transmission of a request to the source base station if the terminal accessing a base station, which is a target base station for controlling a target cell, performs handover from the source cell to the target cell; obtain information about delay time due to handover on the basis of the number of buffered packets forwarded from the source base station and information about packets received from the terminal; obtain information about post-handover delay time occurring after the access of the terminal; and calculate the total delay time having occurred on the user-plane, on the basis of the information about pre-handover delay time, the information about delay time due to the handover, and the information about post-handover delay time. Other various embodiments are possible.
