Abstract:
An electronic device is disclosed. In addition, various embodiments recognized through the specification are possible. An electronic device supporting a neighbor awareness networking (NAN) protocol and a heterogeneous protocol different from the NAN protocol may: store first information related to a link configured on the basis of the heterogeneous protocol; transmit a message including the first information to an external electronic device included in a NAN cluster through a wireless communication circuit; receive a NAN data path (NDP) request message including second information related to an NDP from the external electronic device; transmit an NDP response message to the external electronic device at least partly on the basis of the second information and the first information; and perform data communication with the external electronic device on the basis of the NDP.
