Abstract:
A method for closing application processes and a mobile phone, the method comprising: recording a preset application closing time threshold for a given application (S101); monitoring a current page and all currently open applications (S102); detecting time in the background of an application already opened which is not a current page (S103); determining whether the time the application is in the background exceeds the preset application closing time threshold (S104); if not, maintaining an original status (S105); if so, closing the application (S106). The present method automatically closes applications which are operating in the background which the user has not used in a long time, thereby freeing up mobile phone resources, enabling smooth operation of a mobile phone, and saving mobile phone power and mobile data volumes, improving user experience.
