Title:
AQUEOUS SOLUTION CONTAINING DIVALENT IRON IONS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/062030
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The disclosed aqueous solution that contains divalent iron ions and that has improved storage stability can suppress the oxidation over time into trivalent iron ions of the divalent iron ions of a solution containing divalent iron ions and can prevent the generation of an iron (III) hydroxide precipitate over the long term. The aqueous solution that contains divalent iron ions and that has improved storage stability is characterized by containing divalent iron ions and a hydroxylamine salt as a reducing agent, and by having a pH of no greater than 3.0. The pH is preferably no greater than 2.2, and a pH of no greater than 1.2 is yet more preferable.
