Abstract:
Provided is an article management system that manages one or more articles present in an area, and comprises: a wireless tag which is attached to the article in the area, stores unique tag identification information, operates by obtaining energy from surrounding radio waves, and detects the movement of the article; a user terminal capable of wirelessly communicating with the wireless tag; and an information processing device having a storage unit which stores article information for identifying the article in association with tag identification information on the wireless tag attached to the article. When there is an article that has made a predetermined movement among the one or more articles, the information processing device associates the article that has made a predetermined movement with the user terminal, on the basis of the tag identification information on the wireless tag acquired from the user terminal.
