Abstract:
An augmented reality service method for the AEC industry using grid segmentation and caching, according to the present invention, comprises: a grid size determination step for determining a grid size serviceable to a terminal; a data splitting step for splitting data-to-be-augmented into cube block units of the grid size; a data loading step for loading, on the terminal, the cube block-unit data-to-be-augmented corresponding to the location of an AR camera; a camera location calculation step for, if the AR camera moves, calculating, in real-time, the center point of the currently positioned grid and the location of the AR camera; and a new grid augmentation step for, if a new grid is determined to be needed in the field of view of the AR camera, loading and augmenting data-to-be-augmented of the new grid.
