Abstract:
The present invention enables an authentication function to be easily realized. A data restoration device (4) is connected via a network (N) to a data management server 5 that preserves second data, out of first and second data obtained by dividing binary data by which the possessor of a cash card (2) is identifiable, in association with the cash card number of the possessor. The data restoration device (4) acquires the first data and the cash card number from the data code (400) of the cash card (2) and acquires the second data that corresponds to the cash card number from the data management server (5) via the network (N). Meanwhile, the data restoration device (4) restores the binary data from the acquired first and second data, making it possible to authenticate the possessor.
