Abstract:
An automatic feeder placement control device comprises: a feeder supplying unit (13) that sequentially supplies supply feeders (11A) to be supplied to mounting modules (M1-M4); a feeder recovering unit (14) that sequentially recovers recovery feeders (11B) to be recovered from the mounting modules; a transport lane (15) by which supply feeders (11A) are transported between the mounting modules (M1-M4) and the feeder supplying unit (13) and by which recovery feeders (11B) are transported between the mounting modules and the feeder recovering unit (14); and a supply and recovery controlling unit (steps 102-124) that controls the supply and recovery of supply feeders (11A) and recovery feeders (11B) that are transported on the transport lane (15). The supply and recovery controlling unit (steps 102-124) controls so that supplying the supply feeders (11A) and recovering the recovery feeders (11B) from an upstream or a downstream mounting module (M1-M4) on the component mounting line are sequentially performed in parallel.
