Abstract:
The present invention provides an autonomic nervous system activation device which is worn on a portion of the upper body of a user, that is, a region centered around the navel and corresponding to the waist circumference including the abdomen, to alleviate symptoms, such as orthostatic dizziness, postprandial dizziness, circulatory disorder, dysphagia, and dysarthria, caused by autonomic nervous system dysfunction. The autonomic nervous system activation device comprises: at least one stimulant configured to apply mechanical force to a portion of the upper body of a person; a main body part having an inner surface, to which the at least one stimulant is attached, and made of a material which has longitudinal elasticity for bringing the at least one stimulant into contact with the portion of the upper body; and a fastening part configured to fasten one end and the other end of the main body part so that the at least one stimulant comes into contact with the portion of the upper body, and configured such that the pressing force with which the at least one stimulant presses the portion of the upper body varies depending on the fastening position.
