An information processing device comprising a processor for generating machining instruction data, the processor executing a machining instruction data generation process including: applying a surface inspection agent to either a reference surface or a machining-subject surface of a counterpart member and acquiring fitting image data obtained by imaging the machining-subject surface after fitting is carried out; acquiring surface height data obtained by measuring the machining-subject surface using a three-dimensional-shape-measuring instrument; acquiring three-dimensional coordinates of a contact point on the basis of the fitting image data and the surface height data; correcting the surface height data on the basis of the three-dimensional coordinates of the contact point, thereby generating surface height correction data; and generating machining point data for cutting a protrusion on the machining-subject surface on the basis of the surface height correction data.
