Abstract:
The present application provides a backlight module. The backlight module comprises a backlight source, a light guide plate, and a quantum dot layer that are sequentially stacked; the quantum dot layer comprises a first surface and a second surface that are disposed opposite to each other; the second surface is attached to the light guide plate; the quantum dot layer is provided with a plurality of first areas and a plurality of second areas that are formed between the first surface and the second surface; each of the first areas is disposed between two adjacent second areas so that the first areas and the second areas are alternately arranged; the density of the quantum dots in the first areas is less than that of the quantum dots in the second areas; the first surfaces forming the first areas comprise first curved surfaces which are used for scattering the light passing through the first areas. The present application can mitigate the problem of color cast of a display device at a large viewing angle.
