Abstract:
A system for improving ball control comprises modifying one or more ball contact regions (11-14) of a vamp such that the ball contact region(s) thereafter define an almost flat or generally concave instep (30) of the vamp with one or more ridges (22) and peaks on the upper surface thus enabling greater ball control.
